Designed around a darker back and strong contrast, the Black Back Series gives squid a bold, defined profile in the water while still keeping the flash and attraction of the body underneath.
We’ve put these colours together for anglers who like something a little different from the standard squid jig patterns. Whether you're working weed beds, broken ground, shallow water or deeper structure, the Black Back Series gives you another weapon to rotate through when you're chasing calamari.
Every B2F jig is hand airbrushed, individually finished and clear coated right here in Melbourne. No mass-produced patterns and no two hand-finished jigs are exactly the same.
WHY BLACK BACK?
A dark back can create strong contrast against lighter water and changing light conditions, giving squid a clear silhouette to track. Darker jig profiles are also a popular option for low-light sessions and when you're looking for a more defined presentation.
